Corn gluten meal is a protein-rich feedstuff embodying approximately 60% crude protein (DM) and is used as a source of protein for livestock (including fish), energy. Corn gluten meal is obtained by wet milling of corn kernels. It is made through hydrolysis, separation, concentration, fermentation, and drying. Its protein content is 20% to 70%, which is a kind of protein with great development potential.

 

Therefore, CGM replaces part of soybean meal can alleviate the lack of protein resources and reduce feed costs to improve the economic benefits of livestock and poultry breeding. At present, corn gluten feed mainly focuses on animal diets such as pigs and sheep. It is rich in nutrients, possesses the characteristics of a variety of miscellaneous grains, and is rich in various amino acids.

 

It is an ideal feed for raising chickens, ducks, geese, pigs, fish, and all kinds of livestock. Excessive dosage during feed preparation will cause the feed to be too acid, which should be controlled within 10%.
